I ordered this stool because I have terrible knees and was excited for the opportunity to be able to be on top for my husband. It was ordered on Saturday the 1st and arrived on Friday the 14th – so 10 business days, post-order. (Assuming that’s USPS’s fault.)
It was “easy” to assemble in that there are literally 3 steps; the pieces fit together and then there are screws. However, as I was assembling the pieces, the black paint began to flake terribly off of the metal rods, and then husband had to finish the assembly because it took a LOT of strength to get the last two pieces together. The screws that then go in place also will not screw all the way in without a tool, so there’s that. Once everything was put together it definitely looked wonky and uneven.
The worst part of this stool is the hard plastic “seat.” No bouncing is taking place on this thing because the seat has no give. This was the most disappointing part, because really and truly it’s kind of useless without the ability to bounce…I mean, sure, you *can* do other positions on this stool, but with it being so low to the ground and having no handles or other supports to hold yourself, I don’t see them working well (or at least not well enough to assemble this and have it sitting out in your bedroom). Oh, speaking of which, there’s no way I would EVER leave this out in my bedroom.
