Pros:

The only drawback is the need for a speed controller (which is available); this need makes things less spontaneous than other options that we both love from Married Dance. This is actually our second wand, we thoroughly enjoyed our first one for 4 years and then accidentally broke the cord from use. Make sure you have an extension cord handy with the wand. Trying to have all your fun within 6 feet of an outlet is not easy, and you will just end up breaking the cord as well.
